Ramp-up, first ten sending days
Start at 5 and add 3 a day, reaching 20 on day 6.
30% acceptance: fine
Healthy for cold invitations. Notes that cite something the person wrote usually do better.
Where these numbers come from
They are the ceilings rivomi’s own sending runs under, not the most LinkedIn might tolerate on a good day.
20 a day, 100 a week
The working ceiling for an established account, spread over weekdays and never sent in one burst.
Ramp from 5
A new or rested account starts at five a day and adds three each sending day, so the change in behaviour is gradual.
Acceptance decides
Under 25% halve the pace, under 15% stop and fix who you are inviting. The number that matters is acceptance, not volume.
Keep pending short
Withdraw invitations older than three weeks, a few a day, and keep the pending list under 300.
Questions
What is the LinkedIn connection request limit?+
LinkedIn does not publish one. In practice most accounts are held to roughly 100 connection requests in a rolling week, and new or low-acceptance accounts are restricted sooner. Premium and Sales Navigator do not raise the weekly invitation limit.
Does the limit reset every Monday?+
No. It behaves like a rolling seven-day window, so 100 sent on Tuesday count against you until the following Tuesday. Spreading invitations over the working week keeps you clear of it.
Why does acceptance rate matter so much?+
Invitations that are ignored or marked "I don’t know this person" are the clearest sign to LinkedIn that an account is spamming. A high acceptance rate is the best protection an account has, which is why this calculator slows you down below 25% and stops you below 15%.
Should I withdraw pending invitations?+
Yes, once they are about three weeks old. A pending list in the hundreds reads as unanswered outreach. Withdraw a handful a day rather than hundreds at once.
Can I send more if I leave the note blank?+
The limit counts invitations, not notes. A note that cites something the person wrote tends to raise acceptance, which is what actually lets you keep sending.
Let the pacing run itself.
rivomi ramps new senders, spreads invitations through working hours in the recipient’s time zone, and pauses a seat when acceptance drops.
